The festival returns to Birmingham this September for its 20th anniversary edition.

Digbeth’s Supersonic Festival has added more names to the bill for its next event, taking place from 1-3 September. Deerhoof, Silver Moth, and rapper and producer Backxwash – who is locked for a debut UK performance – have been announced.

They’ll join the likes of Irish quartet Lankum – who shared their new album False Lankum earlier this year – Shovel Dance Collective, DJ Bus Replacement Service and Nyege Nyege Tapes affiliates MC Yallah and Debmaster at the celebratory gathering.

Also announced today are the day splits for this year’s event, with Deerhoof topping the bill on the Friday, Godflesh and Backwash on the Saturday, and Lankum on the Sunday.

Head to Supersonic Festival’s website for weekend and day tickets, plus further information on the line-up and day splits.
