Montreux Jazz Festival announces livestream schedule

The Swiss festival kicks off today and runs until 15 July.

Today, Montreux Jazz Festival has revealed details of its livestream schedule – with more shows across the event set to be streamed than in past years. Amongst the festival’s programme, performances that will be available to watch via livestream include former Crack Magazine cover star Caroline Polachek, Iggy Pop, Nile Rodgers & Chic and Gabriels.

Over 40 shows from the two week event will be livestreamed free-of-charge via the Montreux Jazz Festival website and Youtube channel. Head here to see the full programme being broadcast online.

This year’s Montreux Jazz Festival also features previous Crack Magazine cover artists IDLES, Rema and Christine and the Queens on the line-up in addition to the likes of Bob Dylan, Lil Nas X, Wet Leg, Janelle Monáe and Norah Jones. Furthermore, the festival will host an extensive free entry programme featuring shows from Skee Mask, Moodymann, Gayance and Yussef Dayes.
