The band will preview their second album at a free listening event at Bristol’s the Red Church this Thursday (8 June).
The forthcoming project, entitled O Monolith, is slated for release on Friday (9 June) via Warp. Produced by Dan Carey and mixed by John McEntire, the new album serves as the follow-up to 2021’s critically acclaimed Bright Green Field.
Squid will preview the new record in full on the venue’s Pinewood Studio sound system at the free-to-attend event, where the new record will also be available to purchase on vinyl. Take a look at a flyer below.

Back in 2020, we profiled Squid for Issue 108. The band also supplied a mix as part of a Speedy Wunderground residency. Check that out here.
We also spoke to Squid’s Louis Borlase for the latest issue of Crack Magazine, fronted by PJ Harvey. In the mag, Borlase discusses a location in Bristol as part of our Pin-Drop feature series. The new issue is out now in UK stockists and available to grab from our online store.
