Loraine James, Moin and Nihiloxica to play Simple Things shows this autumn and winter

The Bristol festival and promoter is hosting a series of standalone events this autumn and winter.

Simple Things will welcome the likes of Thus Love, 65daysofstatic, Nathan FakeGoGo Penguin and Salami Rose Joe Louis later this year, with shows with the aforementioned artists confirmed for 21 August, 17 September, 21 September, 26 September and 10 October respectively. 

Among the other artists set to perform at various Bristol venues are former Crack Magazine, The Collections cover star Loraine James, who will play Strange Brew on 18 October. The same venue will play host to a Simple Things show from Nihiloxica the following day, on 19 October. AD 93 signees Moin, who supplied our latest Sunday Mix, will play a Simple Things show on 1 December. A 2024 show with Pip Blom has also been announced, taking place at Bristol Beacon’s Lantern Hall on 16 September.

The Simple Things festival is set to return on 24 February 2024. The multi-venue day and night event – organised by Crack Magazine, Team Love and founder Matt Aitken – will mark its comeback as well as its 10th anniversary on the day, which will see acts play out across the city.
