The Sicilian festival returns next month with Erika de Casier, James Holden, Marie Davidson, Sansibar and more.
The Opera Festival line-up has expanded, with a host of new acts added to the event’s 2023 bill as part of a second wave announcement. Among them, the likes of D. Tiffany, Cheval and Davo – who’ve been tapped for a new HÖR Berlin party stage. They’ll be joined at the new stage by previously announced DJs Sansibar, Jane Fitz, DMX Crew and La Bek.
Elsewhere, the festival – which runs from 23 to 27 August in the town of Milo, Sicily – is teaming up with Berlin collective and event series The Mudd Show, who’ll host DHC, Poly Chain and Domenico Rosa. Former Crack Magazine cover star Mykki Blanco is due to also host a stage – LYZZA, Thoom, Venetta and Evanora Unlimited are locked in for that one.
A number more names, unveiled in a previous announcement, will also play the music and arts event, which brings together experimental electronic, pop and local traditional music. Those include Marie Davidson, Erika de Casier and Marcellus Pittman.
Opera Festival 2023 takes place next month, on 23-27 August, on the slopes of Mount Etna.
