The City Girls rapper hinted at forthcoming collaboration after sharing a snippet of a new track – and a picture of her and Arca – to Instagram earlier this week.

Fans of the artist soon circulated the track snippet and on X formerly known as Twitter. JT appeared to confirm the song was a collaboration with former Crack Magazine star Arca in a since-deleted tweet penned in response to a comment stating “JT can’t be serious…” She also shared a selection of tweets from fans praising the pair’s potential link-up.

Arca has since shared the snippet to her own Instagram story. The picture of the pair, shared by JT, appears to have been captured at Mugler’s AW23 fashion show last January, during which Arca took to the runway and snatched JT’s purse mid-walk. Relive the moment below

A release date for the possible collaboration – beyond a 2024 drop – has yet to be confirmed. City Girls’ third album, RAW, landed in October 2023. In April 2023, Arca released a new video for track Ritual – a bonus offering from Kick, a fan-voted compilation that followed on from her five album KICK series.
