Four Tet releases new single, Loved, from forthcoming album

“It’s the opening track from the new album which is coming soon” says Kieran Hebden.

Four Tet has released a new song. Loved is the first track from an upcoming album that’s “coming soon” the artist told fans on Instagram earlier this afternoon (10 January). He announced the release on X formerly known as Twitter with a link to the Bandcamp page. He’d previously teased the new single on socials, alerting fans to its title and release date last week.

In November 2023, Hebden self-released his performance at London’s Alexandra Palace from May of that year as a live album. Last year, he also released solo single Three Drums and collaborative single Baby again.. with Fred again.. and Skrillex. Alongside Wiliam Tyler, he shared two-tracker under his own name.

His last studio albums as Four Tet, Parallel and 871 landed at midnight on Christmas Day 2020. That same year, he shared his first drum’n’bass remix and linked with Burial and Thom Yorke for Her RevolutionHis Rope.
