The festival has also announced that it’s looking for a new location for its 2024 edition.

Terraforma is releasing a compilation that features artists who have played over the past eight iterations of the event. Since its inception in 2014, Terraforma has been held at Villa Arconati. Following last year’s edition, the Italian experimental music and art festival is now looking for a new site to hold its forthcoming outing.

The compilation – which you can pre-order here – features contributions from Donato Dozzy, Marco Shuttle, Mohammad Reza Mortazavi and Nkisi. Other tracks come from the likes of Suzanne Ciani, STILL and STARGATE.

Alongside the news that Terraforma will no longer be held at Villa Arconati, it has shared an open call to find a new location, specifically a space in need of restoration.

“As we yearn for the possibility of recreating such magic in yet another environment,” a statement on the festival’s website reads, “we extend an open call to everyone, beckoning towards landscapes awaiting restoration and habitation, harmonizing with our collective spirit. Should you harbour dreams where you envision a collectivity joining forces, hanging out and dancing, we invite you to share your insights” – which you can do here.
