The label shared two clips on New Year’s Day teasing new music from the elusive artist.
XL Recordings has hinted at a new release on the imprint from Burial. The label posted two different videos yesterday (1 January) – featuring the UK producer’s signature symbol – on Instagram and X showcasing previews of new music.

The Hyperdub signee has previously worked with XL Recordings on his Four Tet and Thom Yorke collaboration Her Revolution/ His Rope, which came out in 2020. This year also marks Hyperdub’s 20th anniversary, who put out Burial’s Mercury-nominated album Untrue alongside other releases including his 2022 EPs Antidawn and Streetlands.
