Independent label Dirty Hit announces new electronic music imprint

Today, (17 June), independent record label Dirty Hit has announced that it is launching a new electronic music imprint, dh2.

The label will be headed up by producer and The 1975’s drummer George Daniel. A launch party for the event has been announced at South London’s Phonox, which will take place Thursday, 11 July, with the line-up featuring Daniel, Kelly Lee Owens, Oscar Farrell and TimFromTheHouse.

Tickets will be available via presale from 10 a.m. BST on Thursday, 20 June, with general sale tickets being available from 10 a.m. Friday, 21 June. They will be available for purchase here.

Since launching in 2009, Dirty Hit has risen to the forefront of alternative music. Founded by The 1975’s then-manager Jamie Oborne, other signees include Beabadoobee, Rina Sawayama, Lava La Rue and Pretty Sick.
