The festival has added 32 new artists and projects for its 14th edition.
Rewire will return from 3-6 April this year across 20+ venues in The Hague.
Today (20 February), 32 new acts have been added to its programme, which spans music and interdisciplinary art with a focus on experimental projects and collaborations.
New additions include renowned musician Eiko Ishibashi, who will play a solo piece for piano, flute, voice and electronics at Lutherse Kerk, and Billy Bultheel – an artist who works across music, installation and more – who will present the Dutch premiere of his performance piece A Short History of Decay.
Rewire has also announced collaborative performances from the likes of MC Yallah & Debmaster, more eaze & claire rousay – who will perform their forthcoming collaborative album no floor – and Deb Googe (a.k.a. da Googie) & Cara Tivey, who will play from their upcoming project The Golden Thread.
Use Knife will present a live A/V show featuring music from their anticipated new album État Coupable, while Matana Roberts will bring a specially assembled one-off group of musicians to the festival.
Other new names on the programme include Cortical, Belia Winnewisser, Kinlaw, Posuposu Otani, Elisabeth Klinck and many more. They join previously announced artists including Clarissa Connelly, Colin Stetson, Arooj Aftab, Lord Spikeheart and Seefeel.
