Detroit’s Movement Festival completes line-up for 2025

Movement festival returns to Detroit’s Hart Plaza from 24-26 May

Detroit’s Movement Festival returns to Hart Plaza with a line-up featuring over 115 acts and some of techno’s biggest names. From 24-26 May the festival will take place across six stages and offer a blend of seasoned vets and newcomers in electronic music, while celebrating Detroit’s roots in techno history. 

This 2025 edition of the festival features performances across six stages: the Movement Stage, Waterfront Stage presented by JARS, Stargate Stage, Underground Stage, Pyramid Stage, and Detroit Stage. Headliners for Movement include Jeff Mills and Carl Craig b2b Moodymann featuring Underground Resistance’s Mike Banks

Other performances across the festival include Avalon Emerson, Salute, Sammy Virji, HorsegiirL, DJ Holographic, DJ Nobu, Ricardo Villalobos, and Goldie b2b Photek, as well as Huey Mnemonic, Stacey Pullen, Jon Dixon, and Norm Talley. 

This year’s showcases include Carl Craig’s Detroit Love, DJ Minx’s House Your Life, Kevin Saunderson’s KMS Records, and a special performance from Detroit’s Underground Music Academy (UMA).
