No Bounds festival returns to Sheffield from Friday 10-Sunday 12 October.
No Bounds festival has been showcasing local, established, and emerging artists since 2017. For its eighth edition, the festival marks a poignant turning point after the closure of its hub and renowned underground electronic music venue Hope Works. This year, No Bounds will venture to 16 different venues throughout Sheffield and Rotherham to explore the theme of Grit & Graft.
Rooted in the resilient spirit of Sheffield, the festival looks to honour those who have shaped and are shaping the city, from migrants fleeing war-torn regions to the enduring creativity that has made it the cultural hub it is today.
Phase one of the line-up features DJ sets from Joy Orbison, Aba Shanti-I, Ploy, Lo Shea, Big Ang and more, as well as live performances from 96 Back, Rian Treanor & Bianca Scout, MC Yallah & Debmaster, and Tristwch Y Fenywod. It also features live a/v performances from Rainy Miller, These New Puritans and Flower Storm.
Alongside its music programme, the festival has announced immersive a/v installations, multi-channel sound art experiences, and a new No Bounds Cinema strand. The festival continues to partner with local Sheffield crews and collectives, including Footprints, La Rumba and Wub Club, as well as hosting a special 12 hour day-to-night dub techno show at Peddler Warehouse from Sinai Soundsystem on the Saturday.
More names to be announced soon. Tickets are available via the No Bounds website.
