µ-Ziq, João Galante, Rafael Toral and more have joined the line-up for the 15th edition of the festival, which will take place from 23-26 October.
Renowned for its curatorial quality, Semibreve returns to Portugal this year with a typically well-rounded and experimental-leaning programme.
Taking place throughout the city of Braga, electronic music, workshops, installations, and talks will transform the city into a hub of sound and vision, taking over venues like the Theatro Circo, gnration, and Capela Imaculada Chapel.
New additions to the line-up include Aimée Portioli (Grand River), who will perform her acclaimed album Tuning the Wind, and Italian musician and sound designer Marta De Pascalis, who will perform her Tell Me The Sun record with Italian media artist Marco Ciceri.
NAH will bring his raw percussion and visceral DIY live performance to the festival, as well as pioneering electronic musician Rafael Toral, who will showcase his new Travelling Light show.
A key figure in reshaping leftfield electronic music, µ-Ziq has partnered with Czech visual artist ID:MORA to perform his new album Grush.
Other highlights include Lisbon-based DJ and producer Violet going b2b with Mix’Elle, and American multidisciplinary artist Lyra Pramuk, who will join forces with Polish artist and organiser Krzysztof Bagiński. Zancudo Berraco is also set to perform their live improvised show of percussive electronica, while Lebanese multi-instrumentalist Yara Asmar will play her new show Stuttering Music and Portuguese artist João Galante will appear for one of his rare DJ sets.
Previously announced highlights include sets by Actress & Suzanne Ciani, Ava Rasti, emptyset, Aya, Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko, and Lucy Railton.
