The Utrecht festival reveals guest curators aja monet, KMRU, Los Thuthanaka and Tropical Fuck Storm alongside an extensive wave of artists for its November return.
Le Guess Who? has shared artist names for its 20th anniversary edition, taking place across Utrecht from 5-8 November 2026.
Four guest curators will shape this year’s programme. Poet and performer aja monet returns following their appearance in 2024, with a curated line-up exploring resistance and joy. Sound artist Joseph Kamaru, a.k.a. KMRU, presents WA18 – an eight-hour durational performance that examines time and attention through the practice of waiting as an active form of engagement, and featuring nine performers. Los Thuthanaka are also set to curate a line-up exploring contemporary interpretations of Andean culture, while Tropical Fuck Storm round out the guest curators announced with an unpredictable selection of inspirations, collaborators and acts they’ve been eager to see live.
Among the wider programme highlights are maverick saxophonist Yasuaki Shimizu, Ethiopian music legends Ibex Band, and the trio Harriet Tubman, who will join forces with vocalist and producer Georgia Anne Muldrow to present their collaborative album Electrical Field of Love. Maryam Saleh, Khadija El Warzazia, SHABAKA, Lillian Allen and many more are also set to perform.
A key strand of this edition is 24 HOUR DUB, which will see a continuous 24-hour session of dub sounds at Utrecht’s KABUL à Gogo from 7-8 November, featuring Greentea Peng as Greentea Selecta, Krackfree Soundsystem, Mad Professor, Mutabaruka, CARISTA and Touching Bass DJs among others.
