MUTEK Montréal finalises this year’s music programme

The festival returns to Montréal from 25-30 August with sets from Facta, gyrofield, Ben UFO and more.

MUTEK Montréal has unveiled the final wave of artists set to appear at its 2026 edition, which takes place across the Canadian city from 25-30 August.

New additions include Kali Malone, Kara-Lis Coverdale, Debit, Julian Sartorius, Zora Jones, Ah! Kosmos and Hainbach, and Poirier.

Spread across six days, the festival brings together live electronic music, audiovisual performance and digital art installations through a programme spanning both ticketed venues and free public events.

This year’s edition will take place across spaces including the Society for Arts and Technology, MTELUS and Maison symphonique, while Les Grands Ballets’ Studio-Theatre joins the festival for the first time. The venue will host the returning Play series, which provides audiovisual artists with a dedicated space for image-making and performance.

Among the returning strands is the Nocturne series at SAT, which will host late-night performances from artists including Barker, Purelink with Mika Oki, gyrofield and Mia Koden.

The X/Visions series heads to Maison symphonique for three nights centred on contemporary composition and experimental electronics, featuring Voices From The Lake and Kali Malone. Meanwhile, MTELUS hosts two all-night Métropolis sessions with names including Ben UFO, Facta, Jeff Mills and Polygonia.

The Esplanade Tranquille will continue to host the open-air strand, with nightly performances beginning at 5pm.

The 2026 programme has been curated with each venue’s atmosphere and architecture in mind.
