Out on 4 October, the reissue will be available on five different formats and features two previously unreleased tracks.

Today (18 June), Warp Records has announced that Aphex Twin’s seminal album Selected Ambient Works Volume II will be reissued and expanded later this year.

Out on 4 October, Selected Ambient Works Volume II (Expanded Edition) will be available on five different formats – 4xLP Boxset, 4xLP Standard, 3xCD, double cassette and digital – and features two new tracks, along with #19, which was previously exclusive to vinyl.

It comes 30 years after the album was originally released. Switching out Aphex Twin’s trademark precise, complex programming of percussion for rich pads and textures, the LP is remembered as one of the best ambient albums of all time.

Pre-orders are available now, closing on Sunday 23 June.
