The festival returns to downtown Reykjavík for its 25th edition from 7-9 November
Iceland Airwaves has revealed the third wave of artists for its 25th anniversary edition in November. Amongst the 17 new names, standouts include Toronto-born R&B singer-songwriter Charlotte Day Wilson, who will bring her new album Cyan Blue to the stage, as well as fellow Canadian singer-songwriter Jasmine Netsena.
Aligned with the festival’s commitment to showcasing local talents, homegrown Icelandic artists comprise a large portion of the programme, with local acts Spacestation, Sunna Margrét, FLOTT, Eythor Arnalds, Vampíra, Hjálmar, Davíðsson and Supersport! bringing Icelandic sounds to a global audience.
They will be joining previously announced names such as Shygirl, Bristol’s own Lynks, and previous Crack Magazine cover stars Bar Italia.
