Bloc Fest’s sixth edition travelled the length of Italy from 8-31 May.
Bloc Fest 2026 took place across six cities – Bologna, Florence, Livorno, Rome, Naples and Cilento – with each stop shaped by a different venue, collaborator and curatorial identity.
The festival opened in Bologna at the underground Freakout Club in collaboration with Maple Death Records, with Ossia headlining alongside Terminal Archive and XAXER. Florence followed at urban regeneration hub Lumen, where Never Sleep founder Gabber Eleganza curated a night exploring rave culture’s past and present.
In Livorno, Elena Colombi and Mai Mai Mai performed inside the historic Fortezza Nuova during Italian Port Days, in dialogue with local collective Fortezza Elettrica. Rome’s stop at Lanificio brought together Nídia, OKO DJ and Marco Folco in collaboration with Baronato Quattro Bellezze, while Naples hosted an all-female unplugged evening at the Gallerie d’Italia featuring Laura Agnusdei, ARYA, Lauryyn and Sara Venderwert.
The festival closed in Cilento, where Bloc Fest was born, with a site-specific performance by Raffaele Costantino inside the Pertosa-Auletta Caves.
