A playlist for the emotional stages of a food coma, selected by Model/Actriz bassist Aaron Shapiro

Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.

Asked to curate a playlist for Crack, Model/Actriz bassist Aaron Shapiro chose to made a soundtrack for an indulgent feast.

After opening with the feral intensity of Detroit hardcore band Cold As Life’s Ski Mask and a .45, Shapiro’s playlist eventually concludes on a note of smug contentment with CQ’s Sitting in the Park. Along the way, Lana Del Rey, Locust, Jawnino, Bladee, Shinetiac and more guide us on a journey from frenzy to dissociative flow state to full satisfaction.
