In Photos: BlockParty in Lagos

A few weeks back, Nigeria’s BlockParty brought the year to a close with a pair of packed-out events featuring a slew of national names.

The end-of-year antics commenced on Boxing Day (26 December), with an Island iteration of the youth festival headlined by Afrobeats star Davido. With a special Mainland iteration staged on New Year’s Day (1 January), organisers flew the flag for winter festivals once more, inviting the likes of Adekunle Gold and ODUMODUBLVCK along for the ride as they celebrated the event’s fifth anniversary.
