It’s been six years since New York rapper Junglepussy first commanded the internet’s attention with the gleefully raunchy Cream Team.

The mixtape that followed, Satisfaction Guaranteed, may have ramped up her cult following online, but it was the releases that came after – from 2015’s Pregnant with Success to this autumn’s career high point JP4 – that have seen the Brooklyn native build out her sound, flesh out her persona and introduce new layers to her storytelling. All while never stinting on that charismatic, whip-smart and sex-positive sense of humour. No wonder she was more than a match for our round of quick-fire questions.
