The festival’s pandemic edition will feature an online programme on 19-31 January 2021, and a series of hybrid events later in the year.

CTM Festival has announced its third wave of acts. A highlight on the programme is a virtual club night with Club Qu, otherwise known as Club Quarantäne. They’ve joined forces with IOR50 Studio and its co-founder Sam Aldridge to present a queer motion capture archive within Club Qu’s virtual space.

The festival will also live stream a series of commissioned works from Berlin’s Betonhalle venue. Expect to see a collaboration between Isabel Lewis and Loraine James, entitled Fascinated By. There’ll also be the premiere of Symmetry of Five – a collaboration between Mark Fell, Jim O’Rourke, Rian Treanor, Petronn Sphene and Limpe Fuchs.

Furthermore, ERAM (aka Marianna Viscaíno), EPX and SASKIA will come together for an audiovisual performance that’ll celebrate Brazil’s rave scene.

Head to CTM’s site for tickets and further information. You can download the open source motion capture data for free, here.
