The video for Chains Baggy is premiering exclusively on Crack Magazine.
Mica Levi has released a new self-directed video for their 2020 track Chains Baggy. The new black and white video follows a shadowy figure as they meander down a road with splayed fingers.
The London-based musician and composer has shared the visual in the run-up to the physical release of their two recent albums: Blue Alibi and Ruff Dog. Chains Baggy is lifted from the latter. The albums will be available to purchase on vinyl from tomorrow (21 May) in most countries, however they are scheduled for release on 25 June in North America.
Levi recently took part in NTS Radio’s 10th birthday celebrations, curating a day’s worth of broadcasting on the London-founded station. The prior Oscar nominee also linked up with friends and frequent collaborators Tirzah and Coby Sey on the former’s latest single Send Me. Last year, Levi scored the music for Steve McQueen’s hit five-film anthology Small Axe.
