Jamz Supernova, Sherelle and Anz confirmed for GALA Festival 2023

The South London event returns to Peckham Rye Park from 26-28 May.

GALA Festival has revealed the full line-up for its forthcoming edition. Taking place across the May Bank Holiday weekend, Jamz Supernova back-to-back Tash LC, Overmono, OK Williams and former Crack Magazine cover star Anz have all been locked in to play. Other names confirmed include Sherelle, George Riley, Jordan Rakei, Amadou & Mariam and The Orb – the latter of whom will peform a special live show.

This year will also see Big Dyke Energy host their own stage. Elsewhere, GALA Festival will celebrate 20 years of south London arts and music venue Corsica Studios and 25 years of Antal’s Amsterdam label Rush Hour. The programme for GALA Festival’s seventh outing also features AceMoMa, Coco Maria, Horse Meat Disco, Yu Su, Leon Vynehall and Nubya Garcia. Berlin’s Refuge Worldwide will also be involved, with co-founder Richard Akingbehin also playing a back-to-back with Amaliah, and London-based DIY arts and music crew NiNE8 Collective join the bill.

GALA Festival 2023 will be raising money for Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers, building on their support for and celebration of local partners. Tickets for GALA Festival are on sale and available from the south London event’s website.
