The festival will return to the Portuguese city for its second edition on 31 March to 2 April.

Sónar Lisboa has finalised its 2023 line-up. The festival, which invited the likes of Thundercat, Overmono and Arca to its debut gathering in Lisbon last year, will present a spread of performances, DJ sets and live shows across four stages within Parque Eduardo VII, one of Lisbon’s biggest green spaces.

The likes of Sofia Kourtesis (pictured), James Holden, Peggy Gou, Major League DJz, Lady Shaka and Italian duo 999999999 are among the 32 acts joining the line-up today (26 January). They’ll appear at the upcoming event alongside previously announced artists including VTSS, Or:la, Yen Sung and Héctor Oaks. Sherelle and Kode9 have also been confirmed for a back-to-back set – as have Mala and Skream, and Violet and Photonz.

The forthcoming edition forms part of Sónar’s 30th anniversary celebrations, which will be commemorated in Lisbon as well as in Istanbul later this spring, and at the event’s flagship Barcelona festival this summer. The full line-up for the latter festival is still to be announced, however artists such as Bicep, Oneohtrix Point Never, Erika de Casier, Fever Ray and Shygirl were unveiled in an initial announcement last December.

Head to the Sónar Lisboa website to check out the full line-up and purchase tickets to individual sessions or the entire festival. You can also revisit our review of Sónar Lisboa’s debut event.
