Lana Del Rey

The American musician is set to close the London event series on 9 July.

Lana Del Rey has been announced as the final headliner for BST Hyde Park’s 10th edition this summer. The performance follows on from her recent new album Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd – which features contributions from Jack Antonoff, John Carroll Kirby, Tommy Genesis and more across its 16 tracks. Del Rey is set to make her BST Hyde Park debut with special guests for the concert to be announced.

Taking place across June and July, BST Hyde Park will also welcome the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Guns N’ Roses and P!NK for headline slots. Tickets for Lana Del Rey’s show go on sale at 10am today (21 April) for American Express card members and on general release at 10am on 27 April. Head to the BST Hyde Park website for further information.

Del Rey’s new album – which came out on 24 March – follows on from 2021’s Blue Banister and marks her ninth record. Earlier this year it was also revealed that the Norman Fucking Rockwell! artist – née Elizabeth Grant – is set to feature on her father’s debut album. Titled Lost at Sea and slated for release on 9 June, Rob Grant’s release features Del Rey on two of the tracks: Lost at Sea and Hollywood Bowl. The album also features contributions from regular Del Rey collaborator Jack Antonoff.

Last year a new course dedicated to Del Rey was announced at New York’s The Clive Davis Institute. The module, taught by journalist and author Kathy Iandoli, looks at the singer’s “contributions to 21st century pop stardom, her relationship to feminism, her musical influences and artists she has influenced.”
