The Halle Papaz will serve as the festival’s daytime hub, hosting the festival’s opening night on 31 October, as well as afternoon concerts and talks.

Positive Education Festival returns to Cité du Design, Saint-Etienne from 31 October to 5 November. The festival, now heading into its seventh year, has today (29 June) announced a new venue that will play host to the festival’s daytime programme of shows – plus conferences and workshops on topics and areas such as music production and labels.

The likes of dj lostboi, Heith, Laila Sakini, Blackhaine, Grove and upsammy will play Halle Papaz. They’ll head to Saint-Etienne alongside the likes of VTSS, Kahn & Neek, DJ Bus Replacement Service and Amnesia Scanner. Halle Papaz is located five-minutes – by foot – away from Cité du Design, home to the festival’s late-night programme. A former machine parts factory, supplying products to the Saint-Etienne mines, the venue has been unoccupied for the past 12 months.

This year will mark Positive Education Festival’s last outing at its current home of the Cité du Design. The 2023 edition takes place from 31 October to 5 November. A range of night and day passes for the duration of the festival are available now. Head to Positive Education Festival’s website for further information, and keep an eye out for the talks programme.
