The track is out now via Saffron Records.
Marla Kether has shared her latest single In My Corner, featuring guest vocals from K.O.G (Kweku of Ghana). The release marks the third single from the musician and DJ and comes ahead of her debut EP due out this October. The track was produced by Kether and she also mixed the single along with Footshooter.
Kether has played as a session bassist for the likes of Loyle Carner, Obongjayar, Yasmin Lacey and Oscar Jerome. Earlier this year, she released her debut single Revolve which featured Brownswood Recordings artist Plumm. Following this, Kether shared her sophomore single BTR2, continuing the collaborations with a feature on the track from MADELEINE – who plays keys in Arlo Parks’ band.

Saffron recently shared an update on their fundraiser to secure the future of the organisation. “We didn’t quite reach our fundraising target, but we did incredibly well to reach £42,243. We’ve also had some private donations that have been crucial to sustain us. This money has literally kept the wheels turning and our team salaries paid, allowing us to take a breath, reflect and take action,” the letter reads.
“So, where does this leave us?” the post continues. “There isn’t a simple answer to this question – our long-term outlook will depend on a number of factors. What we can say is that we are now in a position to prepare for a refreshed programme of activities for Autumn onwards – and we are excited to share these with you soon.”
“Inclusivity needs investment. We can’t do this work alone – and we trust we won’t have to,” the letter concludes. “If you’d like to stay on board with our movement towards a fairer music scene, we’ll be sharing more detailed information for both individuals and companies very soon.” Head to Saffron’s website to find out how you can support their work.
