The festival has announced its first wave of acts for its 31st edition.
Sónar Barcelona has announced the first wave of acts for its 2024 edition, taking place from 13–15 June. 70 artists have been announced for the festival’s 2023 edition, including Jessie Ware, Kaytranada, Marie Davidson, horsegiirL Charlotte de Witte, Ben Böhmer and Blackhaine. Vince Staples, Floating Points and CASISDEAD have also been confirmed for the festival.
In addition to live shows and DJ sets, Sónar 2024 will include masterclasses, debate forums, professional meetings, and an exhibition of creative-technological projects. Sónar has also announced that artists and scientists will cover subjects and themes such as the applications of AI in fields like music, sound, film, stage design, video games, and alternative realities.
