Massive Attack, Yves Tumor, LCD Soundsystem & more to play MEO Kalorama next month

The festival will be returning to Lisbon in August for its third edition.

MEO Kalorama will settle once more at the Bella Vista Park, Lisbon, from the 29-31 August. The programme features Bristol trip-hop heavyweights Massive Attack, NYC dance-punk darlings LCD Soundsystem, and former Crack Magazine cover star Burna Boy among its headline acts over the three days. They will be joined by newly announced artists including DJ Python, Kiddy Smile, Kampire, DJ Lambo, and Fabiana Palladino.

A highly anticipated update for the festival’s third edition is the introduction of a new LISBOA Stage, which will showcase an eclectic roster of artists including Loyle Carner, Yves Tumor and English Teacher, among others. Other notable acts on the festival bill include Ezra Collective, Fever Ray, Overmono, Peggy Gou, and Jungle.

Continuing its pledge to enhance the festival’s engagement within the local community, this year MEO Kalorama will showcase artists from the Chelas neighbourhood, including Muleca XIII and Landzs, under Sam the Kid’s Chelas é o Sítio initiative.

In a further push to cultivate spaces aligned with the festival’s ethos of social responsibility and sustainability, this year’s edition will introduce the BALORE area. Attendees can visit this area to discover the MEO Kalorama’s fundamental values and community-driven collaborations, divided over five distinct sections: Púrpura Point, Arco Íris Point, Green Point, Accessibility Point, and Inclusion Point.
