The festival returns to Saint-Étienne to celebrate its 8th edition this November
French experimental electronic music festival Positive Education has revealed its full line-up for this year’s event, taking place from the 14-16 November.
Three new acts have been announced, with the programme now including live performances from Tatyana Jane and Zohar b2b NVST. Our standout from the announcement is a set from Hudson Mohawke and Nikki Nair, who will join forces for a performance that encapsulates Positive Education’s avant-garde ethos.
This year’s bill is stacked with previously announced heavyweights, including Goldie, Bitter Babe, Eris Drew & Octo Octa, Simo Cell & CCL and Overmono. Live sets from Aïsha Devi, Oklou, and Crack Magazine cover star Flowdan with The Bug will bring a further dynamic edge. The festival will also spotlight rising stars such as Anetha, Raär and Crystallmess.
Programmed by Charles Di Falco and Antoine Hernandez, Positive Education is set to take over new venues this year — the Parc des Expositions for the nighttime sets and the renovated Clapier station for the daytime programme — following the closure of the Cité du Design.
Earlier this year, the team hosted a smaller event called pe:rsona at the Domaine des Éveils in Bruailles in July, with highlight performances coming from Priori b2b Al Wooton, DJ MARIA and Souzo.
