BRDCST Festival returned to Brussels with standout curated evenings from Ichiko Aoba, Keeley Forsyth and Stephen O’Malley.
BRDCST was back in Brussels from 3–6 April, presenting a packed programme across Ancienne Belgique, Cinema Palace and the Vanhaerents Art Collection. Bringing together close to 50 artists, the 2026 edition was shaped in part by three guest curators, each delivering a distinct evening of performances. Ichiko Aoba’s programme brought together the likes of GEZAN, JFDR and Julien Desprez, while Keeley Forsyth highlighted artists including Rainy Miller, and Stephen O’Malley curated a night under his Ideologic Organ imprint.
At Ancienne Belgique, audiences were given an early look at the venue’s forthcoming expansion, with the updated AB Salon and new AB Antenna hosting a diverse range of performances, from Hekla and Carme López to Ultan O’Brien and Klinck Trio.
Elsewhere, Fenne Kuppens used a five-day residency to debut new solo material, and the wider line-up featured acts such as james K, Nihiloxica, The Bug vs Ghost Dubs and Lord Spikeheart, before Los Thuthanaka brought the festival to a close.
