Johnnie Walker Black kicked off festival season by bringing its Keep Walking campaign to GALA’s 11th edition in Peckham Rye Park.

Since launching in 2016, GALA has become one of London’s most influential independent festivals. Returning to Peckham Rye Park for its annual Bank Holiday gathering and 11th edition, this year’s edition once again balanced heavyweight names with emerging talent, reflecting the festival’s reputation for thoughtful programming and deep ties to the city’s club and music communities. Highlights included sets from Giggs, CASISDEAD and D Double E, as well as Verraco, Facta and K-Lone, CCL, Mala, Surusinghe, and Dee Diggs and OMOLOKO.

For 2026, Johnnie Walker Black partnered with GALA as part of its wider Keep Walking festival series, which supports artists, creatives and communities pushing culture forward. Positioned within the heart of the festival site, the Johnnie Walker bar became a natural meeting point between sets – a place for festival-goers to gather, reconnect and take in one of the strongest opening weekends of the summer festival season.
