Lunchmeat Festival returned to Prague to celebrate its 16th edition with an all-star cast including Heith, Danny L Harle and Rainy Miller.
Across music venues and intimate club spaces in the city, Lunchmeat’s 2025 programme felt like its most expansive yet.
Two days of performances at multimedia gallery CAMP and historic cinema Kino Lucerna provided a prelude to the festival’s main programme, which opened with a DJ set from kittylinda and a live performance from Ouri at nightclub Ankali.
With the bulk of the festival taking place at the National Gallery, Thursday’s line-up opened with 33 delivering a live audiovisual set, followed by Colin Self presenting his project Gasp! Meanwhile, Slikback, maltdisney and Tasya collaborated to present the world premiere of the Lunchmeat-commissioned project, Friction.
Friday saw Saint Abdullah, Eomac and Rebecca Salvadori present A Forbidden Distance, while Rainy Miller performed his latest album Joseph, What Have You Done? and estoc performed the world premiere of How Can You Possibly Think About Anything Else.
Saturday welcomed a range of independent electronic labels for a label fair, while Lucas Gutierrez presented XYZ CRAFT and MONOCOLOR presented Entangled Structures at Prague’s Planetarium 360° LED Dome. Music highlights included DJ sets from Re:ni and mu”he, as well as Kodiki presenting their live AV show Your Excellence, and Mun Sing delivering a live AV performance.
