In Photos: No Bounds 2024
With highlight sets from Flowdan, Lord Spikeheart, DJ Storm and Iceboy Violet with Nueen, No Bounds brought a weekend of thoughtfully curated music and art to 11 venues across Sheffield and Rotherham.
Back in Yorkshire for its seventh edition, No Bounds took over Sheffield and Rotherham last weekend with a series of shows, DJ sets, installations and exhibitions. Bringing everything from techno and drum’n’bass to rap, metal, minimal and more into one programme, the through-line was clear: true to its name, No Bounds is a place for artists looking beyond the confines of genre and expectation, and for open-minded crowds curious to discover sounds they’ve never heard before.
Friday opened this year’s edition with a series of standout sets: Lola De La Mata, Tara Clerkin Trio and You Said You’d Hold My Hand Through The Fire collaborators Iceboy Violet & Nueen all delivered completely different, but equally striking shows at Sheffield Cathedral on Friday, while Toumba, Lord Spikeheart, Flowdan and DJ Storm all brought the energy at Hope Works. Saturday saw the likes of Pxssy Palace pick up where they left off, Before Lo Shea and Betty b2b Linnemann topped off a stacked line-up and closed the show on Sunday night.
