Last week (10-13 May) saw the return of Brighton’s The Great Escape festival.

As the sun beamed down on the seaside city, a whopping 500 artists performed over a smattering of days and nights for a programme focused on musical discovery and industry insights.

Crack Magazine was there in attendance, bopping between beloved Brighton venues – say that five times fast – to indulge in panel talks and topical debates – not forgetting performances from a cohort of contemporary favourites including Grove, Rarelyalways, Blondshell, Sad Night Dynamite and Debby Friday.
