Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.

Daria Kolosova and Etapp Kyle are the latest artists to provide us with a collection of tracks, shared here as a collaborative list built from music old and new by the likes of The Bug, Robert Leiner, Squarepusher, Skee Mask and Kelela – whose sultry Sorbet, a highlight from February’s Raven LP, brings the couple’s carefully paced curation to a gorgeous and atmospheric end.

Indeed, Kolosova and Kyle’s entire playlist is guided by an appetite for the scene-building and setting. This will come as no surprise to followers of the two Ukrainian artists, who are both renowned most notably for their techno-rooted output; Berghain resident Kyle has released on labels such as Ostgut Ton and Ben Klock’s Klockworks, while Kolosova – who first stumbled across techno as a young child listening to her dad’s cassette tapes – is a staple at many of the scene’s most fabled institutions and gatherings.

Shared in anticipation of festival season proper, and an imminent back-to-back set at beachside Croatian festival Sea Star – headed up by the crew behind EXIT – consider this playlist an eclectic accompaniment to whatever your spring and summer has in store. Out and about? There’s plenty for that. Chilling out at home? They’ve got you sorted there, too.
