Last week, The Great Escape returned to Brighton for its 20th anniversary edition, bringing together more than 450 artists across 35+ venues for four days of new music, industry talks and late-night sets.

From pubs and clubs to the Brighton i360, the festival showcased emerging talent from across the UK and beyond, spanning indie, pop, punk, rap and dance music. Our highlights included Manchester genre-blurring duo SILVERWINGKILLER, Norwegian electronic pop artist Sassy 009, London producer and selector Lauren Duffus, electroclash icon Peaches, Brighton locals Lime Garden, Wolverhampton alt-R&B artist Wesley Joseph, and experimental rapper Tony Bontana.

Alongside the live programme, the festival’s conference series brought together artists, labels and industry professionals for panels, networking sessions and discussions on the future of music, covering everything from independent touring and artist development to streaming, sustainability and the evolving live scene.
