The Belgian dance festival delivered a five-stage programme set in serene castle grounds in Humbeek
Across the weekend of 7-8 September, Voodoo Village delivered on its promise of visual mystique and diversity of sound. Saturday’s programming saw Life and Death founder DJ Tennis bless us with a stellar b2b with Carista, a true reckoning force in Europe’s dance music scene, while Sunday saw Black Coffee headline the Forest stage, with selectors like Kitty Amor, Marlon Hoffstadt b2b Malugi and Nico Morano providing strong grooves throughout the day.
Partiboi69, Daria Kolosova and more were trusted to take hold of proceedings at the festival’s dedicated trance and techno space, the Observatory, while the Yard stage saw the likes of Jamie Jones, Blond:ish, Drush and Laolu mesmerise the crowd.
This year, the organisers also trialled a no phone policy at the Oracle stage, with attendees asked to cover their cameras with stickers whilst watching acts including Parra For Cuva and Bora Uzer.
While those moments will stay firmly in the present, soak up the energy from the rest of the weekend in the gallery below.
