Listen to a playlist of tracks that shaped Melé’s sets this year
Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.
It’s been a big year of releases for Liverpool’s Melé. From his club-focused Carnaval EP for fabric Originals to a collaboration with KILIMANJARO on WHP Records, the DJ developed his signature sound – percussive house mixed with transatlantic hip-hop, Chicago grooves and classic UK rave rhythms – all whilst experimenting with new influences through his sets, remixes and self A&R’d record label, Club Bad.
To sign off for 2024, he’s selected the tracks that have defined his sets this year, compiling reliable club bangers alongside songs that have sparked new connections.
“New tracks, edits and some classics from my favourite producers, some of which will be joining our Club Bad party at The Warehouse Project with Defected on New Year’s Eve,” Melé says. “Enjoy!”
