Listen to a playlist that captures what the sun feels like, according to Parris

Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.

For more than a decade, Hackney-born DJ and producer Parris has built a reputation for patient, deeply considered productions and an adventurous approach to DJing that draws from house, dub, techno and beyond. A familiar face at Field Maneuvers, he returns to the festival this year for the debut Can You Feel the Sun label takeover, the imprint he co-runs with longtime collaborator Call Super, which has recently brought its expansive club vision to festivals, talks and dancefloors across Europe. 

Ahead of the festival, Parris shares a playlist of tracks that embody the feeling of sunshine. Moving between warm grooves, timeless club records and off-kilter dancefloor gems, it’s a glimpse into the sounds that will define his sets throughout the season. “I’m sure you’ll hear me play many of these tracks over the summer,” he says. “The playlist reflects to me what the sun should feel like.”
