Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.

Delilah Holliday has her vision laser-focused on a future within limits. The north London artist and One Little Independent signee has channelled this in a multitude of ways in only a smattering of years, ranging from her work as part of punk project Skinny Girl Diet to solo outings through soul and R&B.

Her latest single Silent Streets, lifted from a forthcoming EP, also looks to the imminent future – summertime – even as it considers themes from the past. A dance tune at its core, the song was written during the UK lockdowns and explores juxtaposing themes of isolation and joy felt through communal experiences. “While I was recording Silent Streets in lockdown, I was working and interested in genres and concepts that don’t necessarily go together,” she tells us.

This is all very much in keeping with Holliday’s Selections playlist, which reflects an eclectic music taste and combines everything from hip-hop and R&B to electronic and rock. This playlist is my dream line-up for a music festival on an isolated planet. Including a subversive selection of genres that I think work in a limitless way to enhance your summer goddess energy,” says Holliday, describing it as a world “musically curated” by and for herself. “I hope these tunes fill the void on your isolated planet.”

Invaluable Vol. 1 is out on 7 July via One Little Independent Records
