Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.

Back in summer, Olof Dreijer made his debut on Hessle Audio with Rosa Rugosa. Honing in on his penchant for kaleidoscopic synth melodies, squelching sonics and sinuous grooves – formerly as one half of The Knife – the track marked his first solo release since 2009.

Whilst Dreijer’s focus hasn’t been on his solo output recently, he’s certainly been busy. Just prior to signing to Hessle Audio, Dreijer released Souvenir – a collaborative EP with Mt. Sims. Over the past few years he has also worked on the debut album from Tunisian multi-instrumentalist and composer Houeida Hedfi as well as producing for Swedish-Kurdish pop musician Zhala and a series of remixes including one of Robyn and Röyksopp’s Monument.

Later this week, the Swedish DJ and producer heads to the Roundhouse in London, playing alongside Deena Abdelwahed and Floating Points for Stone Island Presents London. Ahead of the show, he provides the latest in our Selections series. “I’ve made a playlist with some music that I’ve been listening to the last couple years,” Dreijer begins, “and that I think has been inspiring to the music I’m making these days.”

Featuring Yves Tumor, ABRA, Kali Malone and Tayhana, Dreijer adds, “it’s a calmer selection of tracks as I thought the more clubby music can be heard in my dj sets that are already online. Enjoy!”

Olof Dreijer plays Stone Island Presents London on 12 October
