Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.

Harvey Blumler and Gosha Smith, a.k.a. Prospa, are two lads from Leeds pushing forward a classic 90s rave sound paired with their own modern twist. 

TikTok and a viral set in Sydney may have contributed to some of their recent success online, but the pair have been crafting music together as a tag team for over a decade. First coming together over a love of both dance and rock as teenagers, they started their careers playing guitar and drumming in various bands — and though their affinity for harder sounds feels a far cry from the dancefloor bangers they make today, it’s this appreciation for the live experience that sets them apart.

Following their latest CircoLoco Records release, If You Want My Loving — a jumpy two-track EP paying homage to the euphoria of 90s raves — we invited the pair to select some dance records they’re listening to right now. Along with both tracks from the drop, their playlist features soulful euphoric sounds, tech-house hits and acid-tinged heaters for keeping the energy alive as we approach the end of festival season.
