Argentinian experimental artist Catnapp makes twisted pop and serrated mutant R&B with the kind of hyper-defined production reminiscent of acts like SOPHIE, Charli XCX or even Robyn. Despite extensively touring Europe and running NAPP Records, she’s also staggeringly prolific, with four albums and six EPs, including two releases on Modeselektor’s Monkeytown imprint.

With such an insatiable drive to make music, we thought her an ideal subject to tap up for a selections and delve into her reference points. As it turns out she draws for DIY hip-hop from the likes of Tierra Whack, slowthai and Jpegmafia. Dive in for some raw energy.
