The latest campaign is new Burberry creative director Daniel Lee’s first for the fashion brand.

British luxury fashion house Burberry has unveiled its new campaign, starring Shygirl – who previously featured in the brand’s 2021 Olympia bag campaign alongside FKA twigs and also in the AW21 womenswear presentation – in addition to former Crack Magazine cover star John Glacier and Skepta. Shot by photographer Tyrone Lebon, the campaign also features model Liberty Ross actor Vanessa Redgrave, and England and Chelsea footballer Raheem Sterling.

Last September it was announced that Daniel Lee – who previously helmed Italian luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta – would be replacing previous Burberry chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci. “Together with the team, we will write the exciting next chapter for this legendary British luxury brand, continuing its historic heritage”, Lee said when the news was announced. The new campaign from Burberry – and Lee’s first creative expression for the brand – also sees the fashion house reveal a new logo inspired by Burberry’s archive.

Sharing the campaign to Instagram, John Glacier posted the photo of her accompanied by Davy Jones’ Maybe It’s Because I’m a Londoner and the caption, “this song sums up this day perfectly. Me getting blown away by the wind n rain, in front of a ledge and over the Thames”. The accompanying film is also scored and narrated by John Glacier. Skepta has shared the Burberry shoot with “a round of applause for Daniel Lee.” Check out the full A New Creative Expression campaign on Burberry’s website, which comes ahead of Lee’s debut runway show for the brand.

In addition to both previously starring in the Olympia bag campaign, earlier last year Shygirl and twigs appeared clad in Burberry for the papi bones music video. Directed by Aidan Zamiri, the video accompanied the track from twigs’ CAPRISONGS mixtape and features the pair pushing baby goats in prams.
