Sónar Lisboa reveals full line-up for 2023

The second edition of Sónar Lisboa takes place from 31 March to 2 April.

The Lisbon festival has shared its full line-up ahead of the forthcoming weekend event. Peggy Gou, Chet Faker, Italian duo 999999999, Folamour and amapiano duo Major League DJZ have been added to the bill. The latest additions join previously confirmed appearances from VTSS, Sofia Kourtesis, Héctor Oaks and Lady Shaka.

Elsewhere, across the festival’s four stages, Max Cooper will present a live audiovisual show, James Holden will perform live and there’ll be a back-to-back from SHERELLE and Kode9. There’s also artists from the Portuguese dance music scene, with Violet – who heads up Lisbon label Naive as well as being a co-founder of Radio Quântica and queer rave collective Mina – going back-to-back with Photonz plus sets from Yen Sung, Ana Pacheco, Rui Vargas back-to-back Gusta-vo and Catarina Silva.

This year’s Lisbon edition forms part of Sónar’s 30th anniversary celebrations. Sónar Lisboa is set to take place within Parque Eduardo VII. Tickets are on sale now. Following the Lisbon weekend at the end of March/beginning of April, Sónar will head to Istanbul from 28-29 April – marking its seventh edition in the Turkish city – before Sónar Barcelona, which will be held from the 15-17 June.

Artists confirmed for Sónar Barcelona include former Crack Magazine cover stars Fever Ray and Anz, Oneohtrix Point Never, Shygirl, Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Merca Bae and 700 Bliss – aka the collaborative project of Moor Mother and DJ Haram.
