ICA announces full programme for the rest of 2024

Offering a comprehensive cross-genre programme to close the year, the line-up includes a rare UK set from Indonesian duo Senyawa and performances from Moin, Lord Spikeheart and Bela.

The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) has unveiled its live music programme for the latter half of 2024. Spanning from August-December, the line-up highlights include a rare UK performance from Senyawa, an Indonesian duo renowned for their frenetic and evocative performances, and London-based trio Moin, who’ll bring their raw sound to the ICA for two nights in October.

For those into more discordant sounds, ICA will showcase a gritty double bill in November with Kenyan grindcore trailblazer Lord Spikeheart (DUMA) and Berlin-based artist bela.

Elsewhere on the line-up, jazz saxophonist Nubya Garcia will present an immersive set using the d&b audiotechnik’s cutting-edge 360° Soundscape system, which will also be used by the Ivor Novello Award-winning Speakers Corner Quartet to debut their own robotic orchestra.

With the programme kicking off tomorrow (16 August) with Tamara Alegre’s experimental show NX FUIMO, this month you can also catch a listening experience of Jon Hopkins’ highly anticipated album RITUAL the day after its release (31 August).

Proving its ongoing commitment to fostering ambitious and culturally significant artistry, the ICA has already facilitated an eclectic range of shows this year including Goat Girl, Jasmine Jethwa, Aisha Devi, claire rousay, and Keeley Forsyth.
