Taking place from 19-24 August, MUTEK Montréal returns for its 26th edition.
MUTEK Montréal has completed the line-up for its 2025 programme, which will take place from Tuesday 19 August to Sunday 24 August.
Returning to Montréal, MUTEK transforms the city’s Quartier des Spectacles into a nexus of digital creativity and electronic music. This year’s theme, A New Cycle of Digital Creativity, underscores the festival’s commitment to innovation and exploration in the digital arts.
Joining the likes of Loidis, Aurora Halal, Al Wootton, Gayance, and Bitter Babe are Bristol-based DJ and producer Hodge, Australia-based Cousin, as well as RAMZi, Shackleton, Topdown Dialectic, Speedy J, Baby Volcano, SXXN, Quayola, and many more.
MUTEK will also host a special event with Max Cooper, who will return to Montréal after performing in 2022, this time with his brand new immersive show Lattice 3D/AV. Due to take place on Thursday 21 August at 7pm at Théâtre Maisonneuve, individual tickets are available now.
Festival Passports and Weekend Passes are also on sale, with each purchase supporting Brian Eno’s EarthPercent.
Running in tandem with the festival, MUTEK Forum is also set to return this year for three days from 20-22 August. Bringing together researchers, tech professionals, artists, institutions and curators, the programme spans talks, lectures, workshops, screenings, listening sessions, performances and networking events focused on digital creation.
